Hi there! We’re back, and super excited to share more updates with you on the latest release of occy. This release is jam-packed with new features that truly reflect what we set out to do – make volume/hourly recruiters lives’ easier with the power of automation 🤖

Enhanced Hiring Stage Automations

Far too often we still hear from frustrated recruiters, fed up with the repetitive nature of volume hiring. This is a shame, because all it takes is having the right automation tools at your disposal 🛠

occy customers can now enjoy enhanced automations at every stage of the recruitment process. All you need to do is set up a hiring pipeline, and add automation events into each stage – totally customisable to your business’ needs! This could be sending an email or SMS when an applicant applies, automatically declining those who don’t meet a specific criteria, sending invitations for interviews, reference checks, and even digital offers.

With this all running in the background, your recruiters can instead focus on winning over the best candidates to work with you.

Job Templates

If you hire for the same or similar roles often, re-writing or even simply copy pasting job descriptions can tack hours onto your already busy schedule ⏰

To cut out this unnecessary repetitive work, we’ve now introduced Job Templates to the occy platform! Simply create a template with essential information like job title, elevator pitch, and essential requirements. Then, the next time you’re setting up a job campaign, you can simply select your new template from a list (with the ability to edit where needed).

Our team of professional copywriters can even write your templates for you, saving you even more time and accelerating the candidate sourcing process!

Job Copywriting

Our professional job copywriting service has long been a staple for our customers. With job adverts often being the first touchpoint a candidate has with you, getting this right has always been essential 💡

And we’ve now made the process that much easier, with a fully streamlined copywriting request service. No more emailing back and forth to organise requests and track progress – simply select that you’d like a job or job template copywritten, and track the progress via the Copywriting area of your occy platform!

You’ll even get handy notifications when the status of your request changes, and the option to add comments, request revisions and select from different variations.

Filtering through candidates to find your ideal match can be an incredibly laborious process – especially if you’ve got a high volume of applications to get through.

That’s why we’ve refined the filtering process to automatically decline unsuitable candidates as they enter your pipeline. When you send your candidates their screening questionnaire (which can also be done automatically), all you need to do is mark a question as auto-decline ❌

This is a super useful tool if you need candidates to have a certain qualification, number of years’ experience, or simply the right to work in the UK.
